Here at Free World, we envision a world without human slavery.

Free World specializes in connecting professional business consultants, therapists, counsellors, and other helping professions with frontline organizations working in anti human trafficking, to equip their staff to provide trauma care, reintegration, vocational and entrepreneurial training in social enterprises.

Statement of Purpose

Free World Canada is a compassionate and dedicated non-profit organization singularly devoted to the aftercare and holistic empowerment of survivors of human trafficking in Canada and around the world. Our mission is unwavering: to provide survivors with comprehensive support, trauma-informed counseling, and sustainable economic empowerment opportunities that enable them to heal, rebuild, and thrive.

At Free World Canada, we believe that survivors of human trafficking deserve not just a fresh start, but a pathway to lifelong recovery, personal growth, and economic self-sufficiency. Our purpose is rooted in the principles of trauma-informed care, gender equality, and economic empowerment, as we strive to create a world where survivors are not just survivors but leaders in their communities.

Survivor-Centered Healing

We provide a nurturing and trauma-informed environment where survivors receive tailored counseling and support to heal from the physical, psychological, spiritual, and emotional scars of trafficking. Our programs prioritize their mental well-being and resilience.

Economic Empowerment:

Free World Canada is committed to offering survivors the means to financial independence. We create opportunities for skill development, vocational training, job placement, and entrepreneurship, empowering survivors to regain control of their

Global Collaboration

Acknowledging that human trafficking is a global issue, we collaborate with
international partners, NGOs, and governments to share best practices, develop innovative solutions, and expand our reach to support survivors worldwide.

Research and Innovation

We continually engage in research and innovation to deepen our understanding of trauma recovery and economic empowerment, ensuring our programs remain effective and responsive to survivors’ evolving needs.

Women’s Empowerment

We focus on the empowerment of women who have survived trafficking, recognizing their unique vulnerabilities and strengths. We foster an environment where they can regain their self-esteem, voice, and agency.
