Working with vulnerable populations requires careful screening of applicants. We encourage you to tell us about yourself and what compels you to train in anti human trafficking. Note that successful applicants will be required to provide a vulnerable sector police check before starting the school.

Train

Outreach or field placement at the end of the course gives you the opportunity to put your skills and new knowledge into action. Your cohort will travel to one of Free World Canada's partner locations for a two or three week outreach event. Each outreach is tailored to the needs of the frontline organization's particular focus and needs. You can see a sample outline of what an outreach may entail here, to give you an idea of past work cohorts have done.Instead of a short-term outreach, you may opt for a short- or medium-term individual field placement with a vetted organization that works in Canada or internationally. This can last from two or three weeks, to several months, up to a year, depending on your availability and if your skills match the need of the host organization.
